The Eighth Annual India ESRI User Conference  (UC 2005) was held on December 1-2, 2005 at Hotel Radisson MBD, Noida, (National Capital Region), India.

The Conference was designed and dedicated to the users of ESRI technology in India who make GIS work in their  organization and beyond. Open to license users of ESRI software, the conference offers presentations, exhibits, meetings covering professional (application) and technical (product) subjects to enable you to learn about the latest in ESRI software developments and directions, share ideas with other Indian users in your specialty, discuss functionality needs with technical and application experts, evaluate complimentary technologies and hardware solutions, acquire successful strategies to take back to your organisation and much more.

The Plenary Session on Thursday witnessed an august gathering of attendees from government, education and business from all over India, with one common thread linking them all: the use of GIS and Photogrammetry tools and data.  Dr. N. Vijayaditya, Director General, NIC, was the keynote speaker.
