Military Overlay Editor (MOLE) is a new symbol generator and editor for modern battlefield
planning applications.
Planners and mapping specialists rely on complicated unit symbology to
describe today's complex military operations. The current standard, MIL-STD 2525B, is well
defined. However, it is difficult to create the unit symbols. The Military Overlay Editor
(MOLE) allows users to create and edit a wide variety of 2525B symbols. If desired, these
can then be exported directly to ArcView to produce the final map product.
